Most numbers on this site are actually in octal, and NOT decimal. Novinoids use octal due to their physical attributes; three digits on each hand, plus the palm, twice, is 10.
0 is nul. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 remain one, two, three, four, and five. 6 is hex, 7 is sep, 10 (8) is ock, and 100 (64) is stack. 1,000 (512) and higher are named after SI prefixes (i.e. X,000 is X-kilo, X,000,000 is X-mega, X,000,000,000 is X-giga, and so on.) "Percent" is also changed to "perstack", ¼, ½, and ¾ are .2, .4, and .6, and 11-17 are pronounced as ock-one to ock-sep.
A year is referred to as a cycle. Names for cycles in powers of ten follow standard numbering rules, such that 10 cls is an ock-cycle, 100 cls is a stack-cycle, 1,000 cls is a kilocycle, and so on.
The basic calendar, used on Supercolony Karasu and across all of the Ultraverse's planets, is based on that of Shi Kayu. It has 16 months of 34 days each, and a day is exactly 264 kiloseconds. There are 60 seconds per minute, 120 minutes per hour, 30 hours per day, and 610 days per cycle.

The days of the week are Manadagu, Tuyadagu, Odidagu, Surodagu, Fureyadagu, Lugadagu, and sUnudagu. Due to each month having a uniform length, calendars for every year can be represented by a single chart.
Date Format: yyy/Mdd (e.g. 533/E12)
This calendar system is known as Star Era (SE yyy), and it was adopted at the beginning of Shi Kayu's age of space exploration. 75 and 116 are considered unlucky numbers due to the Culture War and Shi Kayu's destruction respectively occuring during SE 75 and SE 116. However, 512 is a lucky number due to the Cradian visitation of that year.
