Plans

Impure Creation

I had some unwarranted big ideas for this one, thinking that it would grow so large under my leadership that three domain names would be needed; one for the corporation itself, a storefront, and a third dedicated exclusively to livestreaming audio. That vision persisted until 2010.

Bytemoth Network

While working on this domain, I had plans for the "Acronym Overwatch" and many superfluous subdivisions. These included FPDC (an anti-copyright webring), BNCB (ratings system), BISA (annual web awards), BEVR ("BlackHat Ops"), the DDFA (blog), and the Legion of Et Cetera (forums).

Clan PROS

I initially wanted most of the website to be a Wiki. I would have reserved namespaces for directives, projects, the CPCU (including character information and stat sheets), logfiles, and quotations. L.E.A.P. was originally called Thus I Lament, and subtitled "The thoughts of a technology enthusiast skinny dipping in the information hot springs." I also wanted to have diskettes as business cards, and something similar to the current Party Plus system known as the Clan PROS Winners' Club.

A while back, SplatterSocom and I were planning the future of Impure Creation as a software company, and we thought up the slogan that we would be the imp cure for the demon in you. While I was going through these name changes, I thought impcure.com would be the ideal domain name for a relaunch, as impurecreation.com is a bit long.

HTMLDEAD was my idea for WaxVerse's 410 page, and is themed after the CMOSDEAD virus. In a similar vein, WaxVerse 1.0's 503 page is a rendering of the Murderer virus. I decided to go with fake error screens instead.
